Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurses or Veterinary Surgeons with extensive experience in clinical practice and ideally experience in teaching Higher Education to join our team here at North London.
Don’t have experience in teaching Higher Education?
Don’t worry! Within your first year you will undertake a nationally recognised and professional teaching qualification. We will aim to have you confidently trained as quickly as possible to start your journey into teaching. You will have a mentor who will be able to point you in the right direction and we will support you in every aspect of your role.
Role:
The key purpose of the role will cover the following areas:
- Lecturing across a range of courses
- Student/trainee safety/Health & Safety at Work
- Student recruitment/Careers Events/Liaison
- Information, advice and guidance
- Safeguarding
The role will include lecturing across a range of courses, inspiring the next generation of Veterinary Nurses while maintaining your own clinical knowledge.

Things to consider
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 depending on skills and experience. Please note that the higher salary rate of £40,000 will only be offered to the successful candidate that holds a formal teaching qualification and have 3+ years’ experience in Higher/Further Education.
