We’re delighted to announce we’re hosting a Dog Grooming Workshop from our Huntingdon Centre on Sunday 23rd April.
This full day session will be open to all breeds and any coat type; and will be led by award winning dog groomers Vic Harwin and Jodie Stevenson. They will be on hand to give you individual advice and guidance covering everything from prep work, products, scissors, hand stripping and clipper work for any coat type! So if there is a dog you are struggling with, or would like to improve upon, you are welcome to bring them.
Victoria, has been grooming since 2016, competing in grooming competitions placing in poodle, salon creative, handstrip and double classes with Jodie. She also enjoys showing her Standard Poodle, having great success in the show ring, placing at Crufts in 2022.
Jodie has been grooming for six years and runs her own successful grooming business, she has competed in various classes placing first with poodles in Asian Creative classes. She won Novice Best in Show for Mastergroom 2021.
Both Jodie and Victoria are City and Guilds assessors for Level 2 and diploma level.
We will also be joined by Mandy Carr from The Scissor Boutique, who will be on hand to describe and provide the right scissors to help you achieve the look you want.
Refreshments and lunch are included and grooming tables can be provided.
Please bring your dog prepped (one dog only) and we recommend that you bring your own equipment and cordless clippers if possible. You will also need a crate for your dog to go in during the lunch break.
