LGBT+ History Month is back for 2024; every February, the UK celebrates LGBT+ History Month and this year’s theme is Medicine – #UnderTheScope. The theme celebrate LGBT+ people’s contribution to healthcare and medicine throughout history and in present day, including showcasing the work of LGBT+ healthcare staff during the pandemic whilst also considering the difficulties faced by LGBT+ communities receiving healthcare and the inequalities still faced today. We’ve also put together a resources pack containing helpful websites, podcasts and general resources as well as some medical and veterinary LGBT+ specific articles which you can read here. Plus, there’s the CAW Pride Guide which contains information about local and national LGBT+ support groups which you can find here.
