The College of Animal Welfare is delighted to announce that the Veterinary Practice Management Association (VPMA) is retaining its sponsorship of Head Nurse Congress for 2017.

Head Nurse Congress provides two days of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) dedicated to head nurses, practice managers and those working in a leadership role in veterinary practice.

This year’s event is being held on the 20 and 21 May 2017 and is set to return to the popular venue of Whittlebury Hall Hotel and Spa, near to the iconic Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire. A range of topics will help delegates discover how to make their team shine, work together to achieve results, deal with challenging colleagues, support people in times of need, communicate effectively on all levels, gain ideas for running and structuring meetings and much more!

Congress Organiser, Tracey Croucher, said “We are delighted that the VPMA are continuing as primary sponsors of Head Nurse Congress, and would also like to welcome VN Times as secondary sponsor,  as it moves into its third year. Previous events have been extremely well received with delegates praising, not only the relevant and useful lectures, but the opportunities to engage with those in a similar position; sharing stories and trading tips”.

Discounted room and evening meal rates are complimented by a happy hour on the Saturday evening, so why not make a weekend of it? An agenda and further information can be found at www.caw.ac.uk/hnc or by calling 01480 422060.
