During Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month, the BVNA are requesting as many student and registered veterinary nurses as possible complete their VN Profession Survey.
This gives you to opportunity to share your views and make a difference to the future of your profession! If each of the 23,000 RVNs and 6,000 SVNs added their voice, we could share our message loud and clear!
The survey takes around 12 minutes to complete, you will not be identified via your response so please feel safe enough to answer as honesty as you can.
The survey seeks to collect information about how veterinary nurses feel about the profession now, including current issues and trends, along with their vision of how it could progress in the future. This vital data will be used to inform stakeholders – such as the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and the RCVS, among others – of the significant value veterinary nurses bring to their teams and to animal welfare.
The findings will also influence BVNA’s ongoing activities, its resources for members alongside the wider profession, and its campaigns – including lobbying for legislative change to protect the ‘veterinary nurse’ title.
At the end of the survey, you are invited to join focus groups, allowing the BVNA to further drill down into the responses received.
By way of thanks, you will be put forward into a prize draw to win a £50 Love2Shop voucher. Although this requires sharing your email address you can opt-out of contact other than receiving a winner’s notification.
The survey is open until 23:59 on Sunday 30th June 2024. BVNA members will receive an email link directly; the survey can also be accessed here.
