To showcase Veterinary Nurses’ impact on animal welfare, VN Times are running a competition to find 12 inspiring pet stories and photos worthy of featuring on their 2013 calendar.
VN Times want to hear your stories about pets that have inspired you; the survivor you’ve nursed back to health – despite everyone secretly thinking it couldn’t possibly come out the other side, a special rescue pet, or an animal that survived in the face of adversity.
It’s a common occurrence – a pet that comes into the practice in a terrible state, but survives against the odds due to your excellent nursing care, and inspires a place in your heart for putting up such a valiant fight.
The winner will receive a Fujifilm camera worth £1,700! Eleven runner-up prizes of a digital camera will also be awarded to each winning pet featuring in the calendar.
To enter you will need to email a high resolution photo of the happy companion, with a story of why the pet is so inspiring (in a maximum of 100 words) to inspiringpets@vbd.uk.com before 24 October 2012. You should include the pet’s name, your name, telephone number, your qualifications and your address. Postal entries should be sent to Inspiring Pets, FREEPOST ANG3480, Olympus House, Peterborough PE4 6BR.
