On the 31st October PDSA are working with the not-for-profit vet’s Animal Trust Limited to deliver a Pet First Aid event. Here at The College of Animal Welfare we are pleased to be supporting this public workshop by providing complimentary facilities at our Leeds centre, based in Morley.
Starting at 10am the session is being delivered by Kylie, a PDSA Community and Education Nurse and will provide the opportunity for participants to learn about the following areas:
– Identifying when something isn’t right with a pet
– Knowing how to act in an emergency situation before you get to a vet
– How to prevent some emergencies from occurring
This interactive course will include theory work, group discussions, the use of case studies and practical exercises. A completion certificate will then be awarded once an end of course quiz has been successfully passed.
The full day is 10am – 4pm and costs a nominal fee of just £5. To go ahead and book your place please visit the PDSA website.
